Vibrant TV Names New VP of Program Acquisitions

CHICAGO: Vibrant TV has appointed Jessica Hoyt of parent company Zephyr Media Group as the network’s VP of program acquisitions.

In her new role, Hoyt will handle the acquisition of global content for Vibrant TV’s linear and non-linear platforms, including overseeing content negotiations with international distribution companies. Hoyt will also be responsible for all program scheduling for the network. In addition to her new post with Vibrant TV, Hoyt will continue to serve as the director of advertising sales for the network’s corporate parent, Zephyr Media Group.

She will be based in Vibrant TV’s Chicago headquarters and will report directly to Dan Zifkin, the CEO of Vibrant TV. Hoyt began her career at ION Media Networks, where she led affiliate advertiser sales for Ion’s local broadcast stations.

“Jessica is a skilled and focused executive with outstanding instincts for programming that match the mandate of Vibrant TV and our viewers,” said Zifkin. “Her depth of experience in advertiser sales also serves as a major plus as Jessica understands the unique needs of advertisers when it comes to making program acquisitions and scheduling decisions.”
