Viacom Global Entertainment Group has appointed Karen Cummings, Scott Gregory and Deva Newman to new and expanded marketing, creative and programming positions at TV Land and the upcoming Paramount Network.

Cummins was named senior VP of marketing partnerships for Paramount Network and TV Land. She will also continue to manage off-channel marketing for original series at TV Land. She will work under Niels Schuurmans, the chief marketing officer for Paramount Network, TV Land and CMT, and Frank Tanki, the general manager of CMT and TV Land.

Gregory fills the newly created post of senior VP of programming, media planning and acquisitions at Paramount and TV Land. He will oversee the unified programming and media planning team, and will supervise content and scheduling across all platforms for both brands. He will report to Kevin Kay, the president of Spike (soon-to-be Paramount Network), TV Land and CMT, and Tanki.

Newman becomes senior VP of creative for Paramount Network, where she will concentrate on scripted content. She will work under Terry Minogue, senior VP of brand marketing and creative at Spike/Paramount, as well as Tanki.

“As we inch closer to the launch of Paramount Network, we’re drafting some of our biggest stars from TV Land to optimize success for both brands,” said Kay. “As some of the masterminds behind the successful TV Land rebrand and push into original scripted series, their expertise and close relationships across the group and externally make them ideal recruits to build Paramount and continue our stellar creative and ratings resurgence at TV Land.”
