USA Network Hires SVP for Digital

UNIVERSAL CITY: Jeffrey Kaufman has become the senior VP of digital for USA Network, where he oversees product development, monetization strategies and content development for the channel's digital properties.

Kaufman most recently served as the senior VP of digital video for Allow Entertainment. He began his career with MTV Networks, where he led brand insights, research and strategy for more than a decade. In 2006, Kaufman led content strategy and editorial for two digital entertainment start-ups within NBCUniversal.

In his new role, Kaufman reports to Alexandra Shapiro, the executive VP of brand marketing and digital.

"Data and consumer insights are becoming increasingly important in how we create compelling user experiences and value for our partners. Jeffrey's varied expertise in the digital space, combined with his research background, make him perfectly positioned to lead USA's digital strategy," said Shapiro. "We are looking forward to having his expertise back in the NBCUniversal fold."
