USA Network Elevates Exec in Scripted Role

NEW YORK: Continuing to oversee all of USA Network’s scripted development, Bill McGoldrick has been promoted to executive VP of original scripted programming for the network.

Most recently serving as the senior VP of original scripted programming at USA, McGoldrick joined the network in 1998 as executive assistant. He later returned to the company in 2009. He continues to oversee all USA scripted development of drama and comedy series, as well as long-form and event programming. McGoldrick continues to report to Jeff Wachtel, co-president of USA and co-head of original content at Universal Cable Productions.

"Bill has an incredible track record in developing and managing the success of our strong and diverse slate of scripted programming," said Wachtel. "We know he will continue to lead the network to even greater achievements, this summer and beyond."
