UCP’s Dawn Olmstead Takes On Oversight for Wilshire Studios

UNIVERSAL CITY: Dawn Olmstead has been appointed to the expanded role of executive VP of development at Universal Cable Productions (UCP) and Wilshire Studios.

She will oversee development for Wilshire Studios, the NBCUniversal Cable Entertainment studio specializing in unscripted content, and will continue to oversee scripted development for UCP. Olmstead joined UCP as executive VP of development in January 2014. She was a key player in the development of Mr. Robot, USA Network’s Golden Globe-winning drama, and Syfy’s The Magicians.
