Two Promotions within Starz

BEVERLY HILLS: Starz has made a pair of promotions within its programming operations group, elevating Judy Batenburg to senior VP of IT services and Vince Hostak to senior VP of post-production.

In her new position, Batenburg will oversee IT services, which comprises the web infrastructure and computing services, including internal and cloud hosting. She is also charged with IT solutions engineering, client engineering and operations, desktop architecture and engineering and technology procurement. Before her promotion, Batenburg served as Starz's VP of IT Services. Earlier in her career, she was the IT director for IHS, where she was responsible for global operations, help desk, infrastructure and IT program management.

Hostak will manage post-production for promotions and marketing of Starz and Encore services and original series, including Power, Outlander, Black Sails, Survivor's Remorse and Blunt Talk. He will work with programming operations, media systems and IT development, IT infrastructure and operations to support ongoing and future distribution opportunities. Hostak previously was the VP of post-production at Starz. He joined the company in 2005 after serving as director of physical production and production facilities at the University of Texas Film Institute and Burnt Orange Productions.

Both Batenburg and Hostak will work out of Starz's Colorado headquarters.
