TVGN Sets Rebrand Date

LOS ANGELES: TVGN will officially become Pop on January 14 with a new on-air look and a programming lineup that includes Rock this Boat: New Kids on the Block.

Focused on "celebrating the fun of being a fan," Pop launches in some 80 million homes with a lineup that includes the reality show Rock this Boat: New Kids on the Block, in which the famous boy band takes a cruise with fans. Also launching on January 14 is a new season of The Story Behind, which goes behind the scenes of TV shows like Everybody Loves Raymond, Home Improvement and more. Coming to the channel on February 11 is Schitt's Creek, a new CBC comedy with Eugene Levy and Catherine O’Hara.

The channel has also lined up red carpet coverage from the Grammys and the Oscars, collaborating with Entertainment Tonight for the Live with ET specials.

Upcoming highlights include the new docuseries Queens of Drama, following former soap stars as they attempt to produce a prime-time drama serial, and Unusually Thicke, focused on Growing Pains alum Alan Thicke and his family, both launching in the spring.

Pop is a joint venture of CBS Corporation and Lionsgate.
