Today’s Special, a romantic comedy starring Aasif Mandvi (The Dictator), Jess Weixler (Teeth), Harish Patel (Run Fat Boy Run) and Naseeruddin Shah (Monsoon Wedding), is about a young chef working at a fancy restaurant in New York City.

Another romantic comedy, Language of a Broken Heart follows an author on love who struggles when it comes to real-life romance. The film features the talents of Juddy Talt (Ghost Whisperer: The Other Side), Kate French (One Tree Hill), Julie White (Grace Under Fire), Ethan Cohn (Gilmore Girls) and Oscar Nuñez (The Office).

Then there is Doggie Boogie, a family movie that revolves around a Bichon Frise puppy, starring Jesse Draper (The Naked Brothers Band), Bettina Devin (The Full Picture), Scott Cox (The Stranger in Us), Patrick Alan Davis (The Amazing Spider-Man) and Jane Wiedlin (Bill & Ted’s Excellent Adventure).

MarVista Entertainment will premiere these new titles at this year’s MIPCOM.

"Television viewers, regardless of their age, language or culture, are always eager to have an entertainment experience that makes them laugh and feel great, and these three well-rounded telefilms deliver that experience."
