Trio of SVPs Named for Starz Program Planning Department

BEVERLY HILLS: Scott Barton, Amy Kline and Eric Neal have been promoted to senior VPs in the Denver-based Starz program planning department.

Barton was promoted to the newly created position of senior VP of branded digital content and products, responsible for leading the programming and product vision at Starz for all on demand, online, digital and consumer-facing video products and platforms. Kline, an 18-year Starz veteran, was promoted to the newly created post of senior VP of programming operations and quality control. Neal was elevated to the newly created role of senior VP of program planning, which will encompass overseeing the teams responsible for program scheduling, promotion planning and scheduling, as well as his current planning responsibilities for the management, competitive positioning, and strategic channel evaluation for the 17 Starz, Encore and Movieplex premium pay-TV channels.
