Trio of Senior Promotions for Starz Finance Group

BEVERLY HILLS: Starz has elevated Bill Bergmann to senior VP of finance and planning, and Janet Dickinson to senior VP of finance and accounting and controller, while Joe Zamora has been upped to VP of finance.

In his new role, Bergmann is charged with budgeting, planning and internal reporting activities spanning the family of Starz companies. He previously served as VP of finance and planning. Before joining Starz, he owned and operated a number of restaurants in New York.

Dickinson has moved up from VP of accounting and finance. She is now expected to oversee accounting operations as well as the preparation and filing of periodical financial statements. Earlier in her career, she held senior accounting and finance management posts at Adelphia Communications and AT&T Broadband.

Zamora used to be the company's executive director of finance and planning. His new duties include the supervision of budgeting, planning and internal reporting activities, as well as financial deal support for Starz Networks' distribution and studio agreements. He used to work for GE Capital.

"Furthermore, their leadership and talents have been integral to successfully handling all of the reporting and other duties required of an independent, public entertainment company."
