ATLANTA: Turner Broadcasting veteran Justin Williams has been appointed as the new VP of digital for TNT and TBS.

As the VP of digital, Williams is charged with supervising and driving awareness and consumer engagement with the networks’ programming and brands across all digital platforms. He is also expected to manage the development and implementation of TV Everywhere. Based in Atlanta, he will report to Dennis Adamovich, the senior VP of digital, affiliate, lifestyle and enterprise commerce for TBS, TNT and Turner Classic Movies (TCM).

Williams, who worked for Turner Broadcasting from 2000 to 2005, has since served as the senior director of new media for the Gospel Music Channel and as the VP of strategic development for Echo. In 2010 he returned to Turner Broadcasting, where he most recently held the title of senior director and general manger of Nascar.com for Turner Sports. In that role he helped produce more than 400 hours of live coverage and contributed to the creation of a number of profitable sponsorships, products and partnerships.

"Justin is an outstanding leader with a wide range of experience across the digital spectrum, from fledgling startups to global brands," said Adamovich. "He has an incredible ability to motivate his teams not only to put forth their best creative work but also to explore new ways to engage consumers and generate revenue through multiplatform campaigns and new product launches. We are extremely excited to have him on board leading TNT and TBS’s digital team."
