TNT Expands Mystery Movie Night

ATLANTA: TNT has greenlit an original movie adaptation of the best-selling novel Hornet’s Nest by Patricia Cornwell, with Sherry Stringfield and Virginia Madsen taking on lead roles.

Hornet’s Nest will premiere next spring as part of the TNT Mystery Movie Night. Robbie Amell (Picture This), Michael Boatman (The Good Wife) and Michael Silver (ER) will also star along with Stringfield and Madsen. Hornet’s Nest, a New York Times bestseller about a serial killer on the loose, is the first in Cornwell’s series of mysteries. The film is being adapted by screenwriter Dee Johnson (Southland, Rizzoli & Isles). Jim Head and Cornwell will executive produce and Millicent Shelton (Californication; Beverly Hills, 90210) is set to direct.
