Time Warner Cable App to Allow Out-of-Home Viewing

NEW YORK: Time Warner Cable is upgrading its iOS app to allow subscribers to watch live and VOD programming from a number of networks outside of the home.

The upgrade will deliver live programming from BBC America, beIN Sports, Big 10 Network, FearNet and GMC on the iPad, iPhone and iPod touch. Local cable news programming and VOD content from several networks, including TVGN, Hallmark Channel, Univision, Comedy Central and Nickelodeon, are also part of the enhanced app functionality.
