The CW Pairs Riverdale & The Flash on Fall Schedule

The CW officially launches its new seven-night 2021-22 prime-time schedule this fall, which sees Riverdale moved to Tuesday and a competitive game night on Sunday.

Sundays are competitive game nights, featuring the series debut of the reimagined Legends of the Hidden Temple, followed by the new U.S. version of Killer Camp.

The CW’s signature hit and most-streamed series All American heads into its fourth season, returning to Mondays, paired with the reimagined 4400 freshmen series.

The eighth season of The Flash and the sixth season of Riverdale both start their new seasons this fall with special five-episode events on Tuesdays.

The seventh season of DC’s Legends of Tomorrow is on Wednesdays, followed by the third season of Batwoman.

The CW’s new hit series Walker enters into its second season returning to Thursdays, once again paired with Legacies.

A new season of Penn & Teller: Fool Us is on Fridays, followed by a third season of Nancy Drew.

The CW’s inaugural Saturday schedule kicks off with night one of the iHeartRadio Music Festival on Saturday, October 2. When The CW moves to regularly scheduled programming, Saturdays will feature Whose Line Is It Anyway? and World’s Funniest Animals.

The CW also has nine original scripted series on deck for its 2022 midseason, which includes two new series, All American: Homecoming and Naomi. These join returning series Charmed, DC’s Stargirl, Dynasty, In The Dark, Kung Fu, Roswell, New Mexico and Superman & Lois.

“This year, as we begin to return to more normalized production schedules, The CW is firing on all cylinders,” said Mark Pedowitz, chairman and CEO of The CW Network. “The CW dares to defy by expanding our primetime schedule to include Saturday night and becoming a full 14 hour, seven-day-a-week broadcast network for the first time in its history, offering more original series on both our linear and digital platforms, providing more opportunities for our advertisers and affiliates. We are rolling out an exciting line-up of our signature returning series which will be joined this upcoming season by the new, reimagined 4400 and the highly anticipated, brand new revival of Legends of the Hidden Temple along with new series slated for midseason, All American: Homecoming and Naomi. The CW continues to grow and innovate on a multiplatform basis with more original programming and more ways for advertisers to connect with our audience.”
