The Avengers, The Hunger Games to Air on EPIX

NEW YORK: Two of the year’s biggest box-office hits, The Avengers and The Hunger Games, are set to make their TV debut on EPIX.

Marvel Studios and Paramount’s The Avengers grossed $200.3 million in the U.S. in its opening weekend. Lionsgate’s The Hunger Games grossed $380 million at the North American box office and around $618 million globally. Both films will be part of EPIX’s exclusive offering of "Big Movies" to subscribers on demand, online and through EPIX apps.
