ATLANTA: The comedy Cougar Town is moving from ABC to TBS for its fourth season, with the cable network also giving the greenlight to a pair of series from Warner Horizon Television.

Cougar Town, which stars Courtney Cox, is headed to cable after three seasons on network TV. TBS also picked up the encore rights to Cougar Town‘s first three seasons that originally aired on ABC. "Cougar Town is a smart, whimsical sitcom that draws its humor from likable, relatable characters," said Michael Wright, the president and head of programming for TBS, TNT and Turner Classic Movies (TCM). "We are thrilled to have Cougar Town moving to the TBS neighborhood as the network continues to expand its slate of original comedy series."

TBS also greenlit six episodes of Deon Cole’s Black Box, starring Conan writer and performer Deon Cole. A nine-episode order was given to Who Gets the Last Laugh? (working title), from Punk’d co-creators Jason Goldberg and Ashton Kutcher.

"Deon Cole’s Black Box and Who Gets the Last Laugh? come to us from some of today’s brightest comedic voices, affirming the power of the TBS brand to comedy lovers," said Wright. "These shows are not only extremely funny but also irreverent, provocative and a little bit subversive, making them ideal for fans of TBS’s Conan, The Big Bang Theory and Family Guy."
