SEATTLE: Steven Soderbergh's coming-of-age comedy Red Oaks and the dramatic thriller Hand of God, penned by Ben Watkins and directed by Marc Forster, have been picked up to series at Amazon's Prime Instant Video.

“We are excited to get working on full seasons of Hand of God and Red Oaks,” said Roy Price, the VP of Amazon Studios. “These shows come from some of the most talented creators in the business. Customers loved the pilot episodes and we can’t wait to hear what they think of the entire series.”

Hand of God stars Ron Perlman as a hard-living, law-bending married judge who suffers a mental breakdown and goes on a vigilante hunt for the rapist who tore his family apart. In his quest he relies on visions he attributes to messages from God. Red Oaks focuses on an assistant tennis pro at a New Jersey country club in the mid-1980s.
