Shout! Factory’s founders said, “Melissa Boag started at Shout! 12 years ago, and grew our marketing department from one to a mighty team. She’s a deep strategic thinker and has spearheaded our move into the kids and family business, which has been pivotal in the growth of the company. She successfully manages the relationship with Hasbro Studios and our other major kids content partners.”

Jordan Fields has been named VP of acquisitions. Recent deals include Bloodsucking Bastards, Gravy and Over Your Dead Body for the Scream Factory line. Meanwhile, deals for classic television properties include WKRP in Cincinnati, Maude and Pee-wee’s Playhouse. “Jordan Fields started with us eight years ago and has been key in building our catalogue,” the founders stated. “He nurtured our strong relationship with MST3K, Mel Brooks, several of the major studios and many others, to success. Through his talent for identifying marketable content and great relationship with rights holders, he brings us an ever-growing list of content partners.”

Finally, Tom Chen has been upped to the post of VP of publicity from associate VP of publicity. Chen leads the company's publicity team and is responsible for day-to-day consumer PR, corporate trade communications and talent relations, working closely with multiple business units to develop brand initiatives and publicity strategies for Shout!’s pop culture TV and movie libraries, animation, new films and original productions across multiple screens.

Foos, Emmer and Foos remarked: “Tom Chen has been responsible for Shout!’s tremendous media visibility. He’s always up for a challenge and pushes us hard into new directions. He has done excellent work on the launch of Shout! Factory TV and publicizing our moves into other new media channels. Tom’s leadership and insight have a lot to do with it.”
