Shine America Hires Two for Business Affairs

LOS ANGELES: Michael Minden has been named senior VP of business affairs and head of entertainment legal at Shine America, while Yvonne Rena Bennett becomes the VP of business and legal affairs.

Minden previously served as senior VP and deputy general counsel for Viacom Media Networks. He will now serve as a senior negotiator and business advisor for Shine America and oversee all entertainment-related legal matters. Bennett was formerly the VP of business and legal affairs at A+E Television Network. She will be the primary business affairs executive for Shine 360.

“Mike is a veteran entertainment business affairs executive with contacts throughout the industry who can handle anything from scripted to reality and Yvonne is one of the most versatile entertainment lawyers I have worked with,” said Jeffrey Schneider, who joined Shine America in July as executive VP of business and legal affairs and general counsel.
