Shine America Hires for Scripted Production Team

LOS ANGELES: Leslie Belzberg has been hired as the senior VP of scripted production at Shine America, overseeing such projects as the upcoming drama series The Bridge.

Belzberg most recently produced Scorpion King: Rise of the Dead along with serving as executive producer on the film Crazy Heart. She now takes on the day-to-day responsibilities for scripted production at the studio.

"Leslie’s vast experience as a hands-on producer of both TV and film make her the ideal addition to our team as we look to build our scripted series slate," said Carolyn Bernstein, the executive VP of scripted programming at Shine America.
 
"I am truly grateful to be joining the Shine America team alongside Carolyn and Rich [Ross] as we look to make a concerted push into the scripted programming arena," added Belzberg. "We have some very exciting projects ahead, so it’s a great time to be joining this accomplished team."
