Shine America Enters Tie-Up with Nigel Lythgoe Productions

LOS ANGELES: Shine America has inked an exclusive multi-year pact with Nigel Lythgoe Productions to collaborate on the development and production of entertainment franchises.

Nigel Lythgoe Productions is run by the executive producer behind such hits as American Idol and So You Think You Can Dance. The company will be working cooperatively to develop and produce entertainment franchises with Shine Group for the global TV market. The agreement takes effect in January.

"Nigel is clearly one of the world’s leading television producers, with an un-matched track record in TV programming both here in the U.S. and in the U.K.," said Rich Ross, the CEO of Shine America. "We are thrilled to welcome Nigel and his team to the Shine family and we look forward to developing the next wave of entertainment franchises together."
