Ryan Seacrest, E! Extend Contract

LOS ANGELES: E! has extended its deal with Ryan Seacrest, who is set to continue to serve as host and executive producer of the network's series Live from the Red Carpet.

Since joining E! in 2006, Seacrest has served as the face of Live from the Red Carpet, which covers some of the biggest award shows in Hollywood. The program is produced by Ryan Seacrest Productions and Wilshire Studios. Seacrest, Gary Snegaroff, Eddie Delbridge and Gerry Johnston serve as executive producers.

“With Ryan at the helm for close to ten years now, E!'s Live from the Red Carpet series has truly become a mainstay of the network and we are very happy to continue this partnership,” said Frances Berwick, the president of lifestyle networks at NBCUniversal Cable Entertainment. "Ryan's close relationships with many of the celebrities on these carpets combined with his command over all things entertainment and pop culture, makes for interviews that are surprising, compelling and always entertaining—and our viewers love his spontaneous moments on the carpet!"
