Redbox Adds AVOD Option to Streaming Service

Redbox has bolstered its free streaming platform with the launch of the Redbox Free On Demand AVOD service.

The AVOD service launches with hundreds of titles more added weekly. It delivers movies and television series free, ad-supported, on-demand and curated to the tastes of Redbox audiences. With Free On Demand, audiences can choose from fan favorites, cult classics and popular titles. Free On Demand is currently available on Roku, iOS, Android mobile and TVs, and Vizio with more devices including LG, Xbox, Samsung and Chromecast being added shortly. Free On Demand has 89 channels and growing, with programming from the likes of Cheddar, Tastemade, Vevo, Conde Nast’s Vogue, GQ, Bon Appetit, Vanity Fair and Glamour, Pac-12 Insider, Shout Factory, Mystery Science Theater 3000, FilmRise, Bloomberg TV, Reelz, Wired, Complex, The Design Network, Funny or Die and more.
