Promotions within FishBowl Worldwide Media

LOS ANGELES: Several key executives within the FishBowl Worldwide Media group have been elevated to new posts, including Paul Lapointe being upped to COO.

Beth Greenwald has been named to the newly created position of president of creative affairs. She joined FishBowl in 2010 as the senior VP of unscripted programming. Her new role sees her overseeing both scripted and unscripted programming. She came to FishBowl from E! Entertainment, where she was a senior development executive. Greenwald commented, “As someone who has been with the company since its inception, I am really thrilled to now lead the FishBowl team. I’m proud of our dynamic and entertaining new slate of both scripted and unscripted shows, and know the best is yet to come as we continue to expand FishBowl and prepare to hit the market with some amazing new projects.”

Lapointe moves to the post of COO and executive VP after having served as chief financial offer. In this role, he will be responsible for the day-to-day operations as well as foreign production and distribution. He previously worked with Vin Di Bona, FishBow’s chairman, 15 years ago at Vin Di Bona Productions. Prior to that Lapointe was CEO at Videojug America.

Kelly Nash has moved up the ranks to VP of development. Nash joined FishBowl in 2010 as director of development. She was previously the manager of television for Lost Marbles Television and prior to that was with Oxygen.

Kevin Bloom joins the company as head of production. He previously spent eight years at Stone & Company Entertainment, most recently as the VP of production.

Lisa Black has been promoted to executive VP of content and business development.

Bruce Gersh, currently the president and CEO, is leading the company at the end of his contract. Said Di Bona, “Working with Bruce has been an exciting experience. His vision and hard work have helped establish a next generation studio, launching FishBowl in television and the digital marketplace and creating a 21st century system for optimizing our AFV library.”
