Project Runway Returning to Lifetime, Getting Junior-Themed Spin-Off

NEW YORK: The latest season of Project Runway is due to debut this summer on Lifetime, which has also lined up the new series Project Runway Junior and renewed Project Runway All Stars.

The 14th installment of Project Runway will see Heidi Klum and Tim Gunn join judges Nina Garcia, fashion director at Marie Claire, and designer Zac Posen. The new season is currently in production for broadcast on Thursday nights starting August 6 at 9 p.m. The show is produced by The Weinstein Company, Bunim/Murray Productions and Full Picture Entertainment.

Project Runway Junior is meant for designers between the ages of 14 and 17. Tim Gunn will serve as co-host and mentor to the new young talent alongside co-host and supermodel Hannah Davis. Judges will include Christian Siriano and Aya Kanai, executive fashion editor at Cosmopolitan and Seventeen Magazine. The new series is being produced this summer in New York and will launch on Lifetime in the fall. It is being made by The Weinstein Company, Sara Rea Productions and Full Picture.

Early next year will see the premiere of the new season of Project Runway All Stars. The show's fifth installment will be hosted by Alyssa Milano, with judges Isaac Mizrahi and Georgina Chapman, and mentor, Marie Claire senior fashion editor, Zanna Roberts Rassi. It is being produced by The Weinstein Company and Bunim/Murray Productions.
