Production Starts on ABC Family Comedy Pilot

BURBANK: Production has commenced on the pilot for Phys Ed, a new multi-camera comedy series set to air on ABC Family.

Phys Ed focuses on the life of a former jock who becomes a teacher at the high school he attended. The 30-minute show stars Ryan Sypek (Wildfire), Kate Lang Johnson (Persons Unknown), Sunkrish Bala (I Just Want My Pants Back), Samm Levine (Freaks and Geeks) and Chelsea Harris (Grey’s Anatomy).

The series’ pilot, produced by Prodco, was written and executive-produced by David H. Steinberg (American Pie 2).
