Production Begins on ABC Family Drama

BURBANK: The Fosters, a new ABC Family original series set to debut in June, has commenced production in California.

Executive produced by Jennifer Lopez, The Fosters follows a racially diverse mix of biological and foster children being raised by two women. The one-hour drama stars Teri Polo, Sherri Saum, Jake T. Austin, Hayden Byerly, David Lambert, Maia Mitchell, Danny Nucci and Cierra Ramirez.

Nuyorican Productions and Prodco produce the show, which will begin airing on ABC Family on Monday, June 3, at 9 p.m.
