Popcornflix Now Offering Exclusive Content

NEW YORK: Popcornflix, a movie and TV streaming service, has acquired the exclusive rights for a number of titles, including the Kristen Bell-led movie The Lifeguard.

The 2013 dramedy The Lifeguard centers on a nearly-30-year-old woman who moves back to her childhood home and resumes her old job as a lifeguard. She eventually begins a dangerous relationship with a teenager. This film and eight other titles are now available on the free streaming app. Popcornflix, an ad-supported platform, is offered on major OTT devices, mobile and the web.

"Popcornflix has a loyal audience that we are now rewarding with exclusive films that they can call their own," said David Fannon, the executive VP at Popcornflix.
