Pivot to Feature 300-Plus Hours of Original Programming

NEW YORK: Pivot, a Millennial-targeted cable network from Participant Media, is due to launch on August 1 with the premiere of its live midnight talk show TakePart Live.

TakePart Live will be airing five nights a week, featuring the latest headlines, daily memes and conversations with a wide range of guests.

The variety show hitRECord on TV!, produced and hosted by Joseph Gordon-Levitt, gets under way on January 18, 2014. The long-running Canadian series Little Mosque hits the network for its U.S. TV debut on August 5. The network has a slew of feature documentaries, including Last Call at The Oasis, debuting August 25, and 99%: The Occupy Wall Street Collaborative Film, on September 17. 

Other original programming set for Pivot includes Raising McCain, a docu-talk series featuring Meghan McCain, which kicks off September 14, and Jersey Strong, a Newark-based docusoap, also coming September 14.
