Pair of Breakthrough Series to Launch on Hulu

TORONTO: This fall Breakthrough Entertainment's True Heroines and Producing Parker are due to debut on Hulu and Hulu Plus in the U.S.

True Heroines is a science-fiction dramedy produced by True Heroines Entertainment for the web. The show is about a trio of 1950s housewives who possess superpowers. The cast is led by Ali Liebert (Bomb Girls), Neil Grayston (Warehouse 13), Daniel Cudmore (Twilight Saga), Gina Chiarelli, Zak Santiago, Leah Gibson (Arctic Air) and Brendan Penny (Motive).

Producing Parker goes behind the scenes of a daytime talk show. The program currently airs on Global Television's TVtropolis in Canada.

“Hulu is the perfect platform for us to launch these wholly original series in the U.S.,” said Nat Abraham, the president of distribution for Breakthrough Entertainment. “Streaming programs have proven themselves with viewers and both True Heroines and Producing Parker are high-quality offerings with strong casts and unmatched storytelling.”
