Original Movies Part of A+E Networks’ MIPTV Highlights

NEW YORK: Just as it celebrates its 30th anniversary, A+E Networks heads to Cannes with a catalogue of original movies, docudramas and lifestyle series produced for its various pay-TV brands.

The lineup’s highlights are 18 new original movies for the Lifetime channel, including Flowers in the Attic and its sequel, Petals on the Wind. The films are adapted from the first two installments of author VC Andrews’ best-selling book series. Other Lifetime titles include the character-driven series Kim of Queens.

Programs produced for the HISTORY and H2 networks include the docu-drama World Wars and the docuseries Big History. The paranormal series Miracles Decoded was also produced for HISTORY.

Productions from A&E’s catalogue include Wahlburgers, Don’t Trust Andrew Mayne and the return of Duck Dynasty. Rounding out the roster is lifestyle-makeover series B.O.R.N. to Style, produced for FYI.
