Opus Buys Up Film Library from Peakviewing

LOS ANGELES: Opus Distribution has taken on distribution for the Peakviewing Transatlantic library of films, which includes around 20 titles.

Included in the catalogue are Beauty and the Beast, The Christmas Stallion, The Last Leprechaun and The Little Unicorn, among others. Opus now holds the worldwide distribution rights for the slate of 19 films.

Ken DuBow, the president of Opus Distribution, said, “I’m very pleased to have bought these titles. The Peakviewing Transatlantic library is filled with timeless films with strong stars. They have already been licensed all over the world and I look forward to continuing with both new sales and renewals at EFM.”

Janet Blandford, the head of sales at Peakviewing, added, “We are delighted that these evergreen titles have been acquired by Opus Distribution and will be reintroduced to the market. As producers we will be working closely with them.”
