LOS ANGELES: Television and film producer New Regency has added Valerie Van Galder, Tim Clawson and David Manpearl to its management team.

Valerie Van Galder has become the new president of marketing for New Regency, effective early next month. In her new position she will collaborate with the company’s studio partners to cultivate creative positioning and marketing for New Regency’s various upcoming projects. Van Galder–who has more than two decades of entertainment marketing experience–has previously worked for companies such as Sony Pictures, Columbia Pictures and Fox Searchlight Pictures.

“Valerie brings an incredible wealth of marketing experience to New Regency,” said Brad Weston, the president and CEO of New Regency. “I could not be more excited to welcome her to our executive leadership team. Armed with creativity, talent and energy, she is the perfect candidate to market the roll-out of our upcoming film, television and digital projects.”

Tim Clawson has become the company’s new executive VP and head of physical production. In that role he will manage the physical production of television, film and digital projects for New Regency. In the past Clawson has held positions at The Weinstein Company, Miramax and Dimension Films—where Weston also worked.

“Tim is a tremendous colleague,” remarked Weston. “I am personally thrilled to be able to work with him once again and New Regency is looking forward to applying his talents to our slate of upcoming films in production.”

In addition, David Manpearl has been hired as New Regency’s new VP of production. Manpearl previously worked for companies such as Mandeville Films and Wonderland.
