New President at The Weather Channel

ATLANTA: David Clark, whose previous stints include The Madison Square Garden (MSG) Company and Fuse, has been appointed president of The Weather Channel. 

In the role, Clark will oversee programming, strategy and operations for the network. This includes live and long-form programming. Clark joins the network from the MSG Company, where he was executive VP of sales and partnership development. Prior to this he was executive VP and general manager of the music network Fuse. He also previously was a founding member of Joost.com. 

"David brings a unique and broad range of experience across all areas of media and television to this role, one that requires a leader who understands the brand promise of The Weather Channel network while understanding how it must super serve our core audience of weather enthusiasts," said David Kenny, the CEO and chairman of The Weather Company.
