SANTA MONICA: GSN has ordered 40 episodes of the new original series Mind of a Man, a half-hour game show in which two female contestants try to figure out what men really think.

Over three rounds, the female contestants will try to determine the correct answers to questions previously answered by a survey of 100 men. A panel of famous and funny male and female celebrities will assist.

Mind of a Man is produced by Never Nominated Productions with 51 Minds Entertainment’s Mark Cronin as executive producer. The show is scheduled to launch in late 2013.

“GSN is bringing our viewers a series that answers the question I’ve often asked myself: ‘What on earth are men thinking?!,’” said Amy Introcaso-Davis, the executive VP of programming and development at GSN. “Mind of a Man offers plenty of outrageous humor along with truly enlightening insights—a winning combination for both women and men.”

“Just as men have never quite figured out ‘what women want,’ we know that women are often completely mystified by men—‘Why didn’t he call?’ ‘What is he feeling?’ ‘Does he love ESPN more than me?m’” said Cronin. “At last, with Mind of a Man, women can get the answers they’ve been looking for—and win some serious money in the process.”
