New EVP at Tomorrow Studios

BEVERLY HILLS: Production outfit Tomorrow Studios, an ITV Studios partnership with Marty Adelstein, has brought on industry vet Matthew Weinberg as its executive VP.

Weinberg will manage and expand the company’s development slate, and will also identify and develop projects while helping to manage productions. Based at the Los Angeles headquarters, Weinberg will report to CEO Adelstein and Becky Clements, the president of Tomorrow Studios.

The exec most recently served as the president of Dare To Pass, a multimedia production company. During his five-year tenure, Weinberg built a slate of cross-platform properties for television, film, print, app development and the web.

“We are delighted that Matt is joining us, bringing his breadth of experience and extensive relationships to Tomorrow Studios,” said Adelstein and Clements. “He is a perfect fit as we continue to package great material with amazing talent to take shows straight to series, as we’ve done with Aquarius.”
