New Digital EVP for Scripps Networks Interactive

KNOXVILLE: Scripps Networks Interactive has promoted Tamara Franklin to executive VP of digital.

In her new post, Franklin will work out of Knoxville under Burton Jablin, the president of the Scripps Networks operating division. She will be charged with overseeing the overall strategy and activity for the digital business. She is expected to concentrate on an integrated company-wide approach to digital video production and distribution.

Prior to this appointment, Franklin was the company's senior VP of affiliate operations and new media distribution. Earlier in her career, she was the VP of business development at Turner Broadcasting System.

"Tamara Franklin has a stellar reputation for forward thinking, strong relationships throughout the industry, and an extensive background in emerging technologies and new business development," stated Jablin.
