New Crackle Lineup Includes Bryan Cranston Comedy

NEW YORK: There are a number of new original programs set for Crackle, including the comedy Tightrope, executive produced by Breaking Bad's Bryan Cranston, along with three returning series.

Cranston returns to his comedic roots as executive producer on Tightrope, which replaces a character from a classic detective series with a modern-day actor. Also on the Crackle roster is Sequestered, a thriller starring Jesse Bradford (Bring It On), Summer Glau (Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles), Patrick Warburton (Rules of Engagement) and Bruce Davison (X-Men). The 12-episode series is about a jury sequestered in a hotel while deliberating a court case.

The game show Sports Jeopardy! is scheduled to air weekly on Crackle for 52 weeks. It will be hosted by sportscaster Dan Patrick and is a spin-off of Sony Pictures' Emmy Award-winning hit game show Jeopardy. The Throwaways is a 90-minute feature film schedule for a winter launch. Jeremy Renner and Don Handfield (The Hurt Locker, The Town) executive produce the thriller about a notorious hacker captured by the CIA who is given the opportunity to work for them or spend life in prison.

Jerry Seinfeld's Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee is getting a five-episode fourth season, as well as a seven-episode fifth season. Guests lined up to appear include Aziz Ansari, Jon Stewart, Sarah Jessica Parker, Robert Klein and George Wallace.

There's a fourth season of the action-thriller Chosen in development, along with season two of the action/thriller Cleaners. Crackle also has lined up the music documentary series Playing It Forward, a performance-style reality series produced by Team Downey, the entertainment company founded by Robert Downey Jr. and Susan Downey, along with music producer/composer Tony Berg and Kevin Lake.
