Netflix Hires New Senior Programming Exec

BEVERLY HILLS: Netflix has tapped Jane Wiseman, previously with Chernin Entertainment as senior VP of comedy, as a senior executive of original programming.

Wiseman will report to Cindy Holland, the VP of original content at Netflix.

During her time at Chernin, Wiseman helped to produce shows such as New Girl for FOX. Prior to Chernin, Wiseman was senior VP of comedy development at NBC and Universal Media Studios. Before that, she was the director of comedy development at FOX.
