NEW YORK: Just as season seven came to an end, NBC has announced that The Celebrity Apprentice will be returning to the network for an eighth run.

The winner of season seven was announced in a live finale last night. The news of season eight broke during this live broadcast. There are no details yet on when the new season will premiere.
