Nat Geo Readies Debut of Jason Silva-Hosted Series

WASHINGTON, D.C.: The eight-part series ORIGINS: The Journey of Humankind, fronted by Jason Silva (Brain Games), is premiering next month on National Geographic.

The series, which will debut on March 6 at 9 p.m., is part scripted, part documentary and chronicles the story of how man became modern. Futurist Silva takes viewers through the pivotal “origin” moments that propelled mankind’s evolutionary ascension.

The series will explore fire, medicine, war, money, communication, transportation, exploration and shelter. It will feature audiovisual sequences designed by John Boswell, known worldwide as Melodysheep.
