My Damn Channel Expands Original Lineup

NEW YORK: My Damn Channel has more than 30 new original comedy series launching this year, alongside the return of the hit show You Suck at Photoshop.

The web phenomenon You Suck at Photoshop came to My Damn Channel in 2007. It now returns in its third season.

The 2012 lineup also includes Celebrity Sleepover, featuring comedian Mark Malkoff; Co-Op of the Damned, about roommates in Manhattan; Daddy Knows Best, which stars Steve Rannazzisi; and The Jon Friedman Internet Program. Gilbert Gets It, featuring Gilbert Gottfried, is on the roster alongside Kicking Dan Out, starring Dan St. Germain; Linked Out, featuring the comedy troupe Junior Varsity; McMayhem, hosted by Stephen Seidel; and Murderfest, also from a sketch comedy troupe. Other titles include Product Displacement, Sing-A-Gram, Save the Super Force, Status Kill (season two), The Tweekly News and Workless.

“We’ve tripled the amount of original comedy production this year to give more talent the chance to reach a large audience,” said Rob Barnett, the founder and CEO of My Damn Channel. “The massive increase in premium programming you’re seeing from the entire online community in 2012 gives advertisers more opportunities to partner with companies leading the charge.”
