NEW YORK: Alongside its slate of returning series, MTV has announced several new additions to its schedule, including the Alaska-based Slednecks.

At its upfront presentation in New York, MTV revealed the new half-half docuseries Slednecks, about a group of "outdoor tough" friends living in the wilds of Alaska. One Bad Choice is a new series that explores the consequences of young people who made a terrible decision that changed their lives forever. Beyond Dance is a weekly hour-long competition show that features professional dancers competing in ways that push beyond traditional dance.

MTV also unveiled its summer premiere schedule, which includes 9 Days and Nights of Ed Sheeran, a one-hour documentary that takes fans inside the world of the British singer-songwriter. Teen Wolf is coming back for a fourth season on June 23. In July, Finding Carter makes its premiere. The family drama centers on Carter, a teenage girl who finds out that the woman who she believes to be her biological mother actually abducted her as a toddler. Rob Dyrdek's Ridiculousness returns for a fifth season in July. Also from Dyrdek comes Snack-Off, a cooking competition show with a comedic twist. Hosted by chef, restaurateur and food personality Eddie Huang, Snack-Off premieres on July 10.
