Mission Pictures & Venevision to Collaborate on Inspirational Films

LOS ANGELES: Mission Pictures International and Venevision Productions are working together to co-produce English-language films with inspirational messages.

Production on the first film to come out of the partnership will start in Miami later this year. A release for the initial project is planned for 2014. The aim is to co-produce films that will reflect the core values of both companies. Mission Pictures specializes in high-quality family entertainment, while Venevision Productions has been a leader in telenovelas worldwide.

Peter Tinoco, the president and CEO of Venevision Productions, said, “We are thrilled to collaborate with Mission Pictures; especially since our companies complement each other. With our state-of-the art studios and highly experienced production personnel and their expertise in the genre, the results should definitely be inspiring.”
