MIPCOM Spotlight: Storybox Entertainment

CANNES: In the 90-minute romantic comedy/drama Summer Love, a single mom goes back to college and accepts an internship at a tech company, where she soon finds two handsome executives competing for her love.

Storybox Entertainment is presenting the title among a slate of features that also includes Love on a Limb, about a town’s beloved oak tree that brings together two unsuspecting people.

The holiday movie Christmas Cookies tells the story of a high-powered executive on a mission to buy a small-town cookie factory so she can return to her city life before the dreaded Christmas season.

Francisco J. González, the head of international at Storybox Entertainment, says these movies have “original stories with universal and relatable themes, great production values and top-notch casts.”
