MGM Television Ties Up with Caryn Mandabach Productions

LOS ANGELES: MGM Television has entered into an exclusive, multiyear partnership with Caryn Mandabach Productions, which is behind such hits as Nurse Jackie, for the development of scripted content.

The agreement by MGM Television was signed with the U.S.-based Caryn Mandabach Productions to develop new hour and half-hour scripted programming. Mandabach’s London-based company produces Peaky Blinders for BBC Two and Netflix, and will continue its existing first-look arrangement with Content Media Corporation.

“Caryn is a prolific veteran of the industry and is the driving force behind some of television’s most creative and intriguing series,” said Roma Khanna, the president of the television group and digital at MGM. “We are thrilled to work together on bringing new stories to the marketplace.”
