MarVista Appoints New Execs in Production & Finance

LOS ANGELES: MarVista Entertainment has made a series of executive appointments, following its announcement that it will diversify into scripted series production.

Gaylyn Fraiche has been tapped for the newly created post of VP of development and production. Fraiche will report to Robyn Snyder, MarVista's EVP of production and development. Previously, Fraiche was the EVP at Martin Chase Productions and has a slew of TV production credits.

In the finance department, Danette Nelson has been appointed as controller. She will be responsible for the company's financial plans and policies. Nelson reports to Susan Young, the CFO. Previously, Nelson was the assistant controller at VisionArt Design & Animation.

Also in finance, MarVista hired Alan Kuei as financial analyst to focus on budgeting and forecasting. Kuei will report to Nelson.
