Main Event Media, an All3Media America company, has promoted Stephanie Valentin to VP of creative development and production.

Valentin, who was previously the director of development, is taking on the new position following the launch of Eye Candy on Roku. She developed and co-executive produced the series after having discovered the original format Sukkori Sweets from Nippon TV.

“Stephanie has strong creative instincts and an artist’s eye for execution,” said Jimmy Fox, founder and president of Main Event Media. “She also values the important things in life like family, desserts and the Marvel Cinematic Universe, which are principles we hold in high regard here at Main Event Media.”

Valentin has 16 years of experience in development and production across multiple genres including scripted, unscripted, news, live broadcasting and digital content. Her previous roles include serving as head of creative editing and branding at TV O Povo. She joined Main Event Media in 2017 as a producer and development editor. Her credits include producer/editor on Celebrity Call Center for E! and supervising producer/editor on While Black for Snapchat.

The promotion comes alongside Main Event Media’s slate of recent series launches and new pickups, including Roku’s Eye Candy, as well as Dated and Related on Netflix and Sweet Life: Los Angeles on HBO Max.
