Lionsgate to Develop TV Series with Paul Feig

Lionsgate Television Group has inked a first-look deal with Paul Feig, a producer, director, writer and actor, to develop scripted and unscripted TV shows.

Under the agreement, Feig and his producer partner Jessie Henderson will create scripted and unscripted series and formats for Lionsgate Television Group through Feigco Entertainment. Lionsgate already works with Feig on the half-hour comedy The Joel McHale Show with Joel McHale, which he executive produces.

Feig, an Emmy nominee, created the critically acclaimed hit Freaks and Geeks and served as director and co-executive producer on The Office.
