Lionsgate Television Group Promotes Pair

Lionsgate has promoted Scott Herbst to head of scripted development for its television group and Jocelyn Sabo to senior VP of television.

Herbst is responsible for overseeing the development of Lionsgate scripted series across broadcast, cable and streaming platforms. He and his team are tasked with identifying and developing premium content for a range of buyers and leveraging the company’s production partnerships, including its 3 Arts Entertainment and Point Grey Pictures relationships. Before joining Lionsgate, Herbst served as VP of scripted programming for NBCU International, where he produced series like You, Me and the Apocalypse for NBC/Sky and Glitch for Netflix/Australia’s ABC.

Sabo helped shepherd the hit series Orange Is the New Black as well as Chasing Life at Freeform. Prior to Lionsgate, Sabo worked at Showtime Networks.
